Denton ISD has now decided to allow teachers to use websites other than DISD sites for their classroom webpages!! That means next year, I can return to using this out of date site! I will be updating it soon to prepare it for the 2012-2013 school year. Fair warning that most links and posts don’t apply or don’t work at the moment.
Updates soon! Future of the site!
New site Site moved to DISD's site

New site
DISD requires all teachers to use their websites so this website won’t be used for my official classroom website for a while.

Wow, it’s August 13!
Wow, it’s already August 13. Tomorrow I begin staff development at Denton ISD. In just 13 days, school will begin again! While I’m not quite ready for it, a part of me is very excited to be teaching computers again in Denton ISD. Welcome to everyone–we’re going to have an awesome year!
Awesome quote
“The irony is that people think that because they went to school and watched their teachers, that they know what it takes to teach. Well, I’ve seen my doctor, do I hold a medical license? I buy clothing…can I design and market it? Just because we experience things in our lives, doesn’t make us experts in those experiences. It takes a lot more to teach than anyone who has never taught a day in their life will ever know.”
